At Envision Homes we believe that collaboration is the key to developing a successful project. Envision Homes works closely with our clients throughout the design process to incorporate their ideas with our innovative design solutions and cost-effective, energy efficient construction, to create a home that is a true reflection of our clients aspirations and lifestyle. We strive to guide our clients through the design process by providing guidance and expertise in, design and space allocation, construction materials and methods, site planning, approvals and permitting, green building, energy efficiency, finish and detail selections, and the multitude of other decisions tailored to our clients specific budget and the project requirements.
With the use of our 3D computer-aided design software, you are able to visualize the design early in the conceptual phase of the project. For many, if not most clients, traditional 2D design drawings consisting of simple floor plans and elevations can be difficult to understand. With the ability to “walkthrough” and visualize the interior and exterior of the home, as well as how the home relates to the topography of the site, the homeowner is able to have a greater understanding of design options with less uncertainty. This level of interactive design allows our clients to make relevant design decisions much earlier in the design process, thus saving time and money.
Whether the project is a detached garage, an addition/renovation, or a new custom home, our goal is to meet your expectations and provide you with a design that fits your lifestyle requirements and is achievable within your budget.
The following is an outline of steps intended as an overview of a “typical” design process. However, the process of custom designing a home can seldom be defined as typical. The design process can and will change significantly from project to project and client to client depending on their specific needs and requirements. Accordingly, this outline should be used as a general guideline and not a specific recipe for designing a new home or addition.
